AMAWATERWAYS VACCINATION STATEMENT
Effective August 2021 until further notice, AmaWaterways requires that all guests coming on-board comply with all current regulations for travel by each jurisdiction through which the vessel will cruise. At this time, it means that all guests must be fully vaccinated with two doses of vaccines from either Moderna, Pfizer, Astra Zeneca or one dose from Johnson and Johnson. Additionally, the final shots need to be administered at least 14 days before travel with any of the two dose vaccines and 28 days with the one dose vaccine. The vaccination requirement also applies to accompanied minors. This rule or others may be in effect at the time of the charter, part charter or group movement and no exceptions will be made.
PREGNANCY POLICY
If a pregnant guest has entered or will be entering their 24th week before or during the cruise, they are NOT ALLOWED to cruise. If a pregnant guest is less than 24 weeks, a physician’s “Fit to Travel” note stating that they are in good health, not a high-risk pregnancy, and not entering the 24th week must be presented at check-in and carried onboard.
GUESTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18
All guests under the age of 18 are to be in a stateroom with an adult, must remain supervised at all times, and their safety is the responsibility of the accompanying adult(s). Children must be at least 8 years old by September 26, 2022, to go on the cruise. Denial of boarding for children who do not satisfy this minimum age requirement may also result in the denial of boarding for one or more guests sailing with that child. No refunds will be given as a result of the denial of boarding to an underage child or other accompanying guests. AmaWaterways™ does not provide child-specific programs or child-minding facilities.
Children 8-10 years old at the time of embarkation may share a cabin at a rate of 25% of the cabin rate with 2 adults provided the child is able to share the bed with the adults – no additional or rollaway bed will be provided. Children 11-17 years old will be charged the full rate and can share a room with adults in a triple occupancy stateroom (limited). For rates and availability, please contact Symposia Medicus.
