CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION
Our conference on Current Issues in Women’s Health is designed for physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, physician associates, nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals involved in the care of pediatric patients. Covering a wide array of topics in Women’s Health, our expert faculty will discuss the latest evidence-based advancements in women’s healthcare, present emerging clinical data, and provide skills and strategies for application and implementation into your practice. This educational activity aims to increase both the competence and performance of all attendees as well as contribute to your ability to work together as part of a coordinated healthcare team.
Topics for this year’s conference have been selected based on the educational needs underlying identified professional practice gaps. The gaps were derived from a variety of sources including evaluations and outcomes data from past participants, clinical expert input, Symposia Medicus’ online survey, and other medical and nursing data such as current clinical guidelines, research findings, and literature reviews.
The conference format includes didactic lectures, question and answer sessions, and case studies. Following a group of lectures, the question and answer sessions allow attendees to ask the faculty critical and challenging questions about caring for patients during various women’s healthcare situations.
An outstanding faculty has been assembled for this conference. Each faculty member was selected based on their individual area of expertise and ability to communicate current, evidence-based, and practical information to participants.

SYMPOSIA MEDICUS PRESENTS AN EXCITING EUROPEAN CHRISTMAS MARKETS ON THE DANUBE RIVER CRUISE CONFERENCE
The AmaViola is no ordinary river cruise ship–from stylishly decorated lounges and restaurants to luxurious staterooms (most with balconies that maximize views of the beauty of the Western Danube and its abbeys, vineyards, and fairytale, cobblestoned towns), this ship boasts an elegant, elevated method of vacation transportation. Mouthwatering cuisine worthy of La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, an exclusive and internationally-renowned gastronomic society, is served from sunrise to sunset. There’s something symphonic about the flourish and style of The Chef’s Table specialty restaurant and the coordinated effort to serve delicious courses from the regionally-inspired tasting menu. Plus, the AmaViola inspires you to be the best version of yourself with a walking track, fitness room, and fleet of on-board bikes to keep you happy and healthy during your cruise.
Experience timeless holiday traditions and elegant pageantry in four countries—Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary. Let iconic capital cities—Vienna and Budapest—decked in holiday finery with glittering Christmas trees illuminated by thousands of lights, bells ringing from cathedral towers, and children dressed as angels singing Christmas carols, dazzle you. Wander the stalls of Europe’s most traditional and enchanting Christmas Markets, such as Salzburg and Cesky Krumlov. Shop for handcrafted toys and gifts, sip hot mulled wine, and inhale the fragrance of gingerbread and roasted chestnuts. Cherish all the glory and magic of the season in grand European style as you cruise along the Danube during this festive time of the year.
On this cruise, you will enjoy an extensive line-up of included tours, which always include a large variety of activities so that you can choose how you want to explore. No matter your preference, your days will be full of discovery and wonder. The Wellness Program has professionally trained Wellness Hosts that will lead a variety of fitness classes, including core strengthening and circuit training, as well as occasional health and wellness-related lectures and discussions over the course of the cruise.
We cordially invite you to come aboard the AmaWaterwaysTM AmaViola for this conference on Current Issues in Women’s Health and join us for the holiday cruise of a lifetime.
